‘Sasso di Preguda’ (Preguda boulder) is a massive, pyramid-shaped, 7-meters-high block of coarse-grained granite which originally came from Val Masino. 

It is one of the many erratic boulders which have been transported to their current location by the glacier. As a consequence of the glacial retreat, these boulders are now located in positions that differ from their places of origin and this, alongside with their unusual dimensions, is the reason why they attract so many rock climbers and hikers.
